Lifa "Mhlekazi" Gqosha has rejoined NkowaNkowa-based National First Division side Dynamos after he spent two seasons in the Vodacom Promotional League.

Gqosha's renewed relationship with the Dynamites was confirmed to Sowetan by the club's boss Pat Malabela yesterday. He will be co-coach with Raymond "Hei Wena" Mdaka.

"We are aware that Lifa understands the team's culture and we are also confident that he will deliver the team to the elite league. He is loyal and considerate," Malabela said.

When pressed to comment on the duration of the contract he said: "There is no way we can give Lifa a time frame because he is part of the Dynamos family, although he left the team due to his personal reasons in 2007. We believe that the decision whether to leave the club should be the responsibility of the coach, not us."

Gqosha's relationship with Ri Khomeni Ri Nga Pheri dates back to 2003 when he joined the side from Kaizer Chiefs as a player.

Three years later he was anointed as the team's coach until he saved it from the relegation axe in the 2005-2006, but after that the team was sold to Patrick Sokhela in 2006, who then renamed it AmaZulu.

"I will do all that is possible to ensure that Dynamos return to the elite league, because when you join a NFD team there is only one mandate, to get the team promoted.

"I am satisfied with the current squad and believe that my combination with Raymond will bear fruit for the club," Gqosha told Sowetan yesterday.
