Soul-stirring music and spiritual ecstasy doesn't come in a better package than South Africa's pre-eminent gospel show, Joyous Celebration.

When the first note in Joyous Celebration first gospel show was hit in 1996, it was clear it was the beginning of a spiritual phenomenon. Today, this revolutionary gospel music production is in its 11th year running and continues its signature celebration with glorious music, inspirational songs and infectious dance around the country.

Joyous Celebration was founded with the aim of reviving and celebrating spiritual music, which has inspired and strengthened our nation over time, and to elevate the status of this music genre in South Africa.

It was also aimed at unearthing, developing and showcasing new and talented musicians, therefore providing them with a solid platform from which to launch their careers.

The project is still true to these objectives today and evidence of this success can be seen in the likes of Ernie Smith, Swazi Dlamini and many other musicians.
