Crime robs us of most fundamental right

Crime should be treated as a matter of urgency in South Africa.

Crime should be treated as a matter of urgency in South Africa.

It seems as if our leaders are stunned and don't know what to do to decrease the level of crime in South Africa. One of the fundamental responsibilities of a government is to protect its citizens.

South Africa has experienced one of the most devastating losses of its icons, Lucky Dube, through this monster, crime. We have become a laughing stock of our neighbour Botswana because we have failed to protect the democracy that we fought so hard for.

One of the fundamental rights in our Constitution is the right to life.
