The family of a murdered Soweto woman say the police are keeping them in the dark about the case.

Lesi Ndlovu, 44, was found dead in her White City, Jabavu, home on June 22. She was allegedly attacked by a man who has since been on the run.

Stan Banda, a family member, said: "We have not heard from the police since last week. All we want is for this man to be arrested."

Captain Lindiwe Mbatha said they were following leads and that the investigating officer had met the family.
