Organisers of the Absa Cup are pulling out all stops to get a full house in tomorrow's final featuring Ajax Cape Town and Mamelodi Sundowns at King's Park Stadium.

Representatives of the banking institution, Sundowns and Ajax are expected to visit schools in Durban and surrounding townships today to create awareness of the final.

"We have agreed with Metrorail that people coming to the final from KwaZulu-Natal townships can use the trains free of charge," said Alex Shakoane, Downs' spokesman.

"It is only for people coming to the game. The good thing is that the station in the city is a stone's throw away from the station. We expect a full house, already 19 000 tickets have been sold. As Sundowns, 30 of the 100 buses that we have organised from Gauteng are now full."

Shakoane said Sundowns will launch supporters' branches in KwaMashu, Umlazi, Clermont and Tongaat tomorrow morning.

Ajax said: "After days of negotiations between the sponsors Absa, The City of Cape Town, the provincial government, Ajax and Transnet, an agreement could not be reached to charter a train to Durban."
