Marvellous little Mini is best at satisfying customers
Mini has surprised many by winning the Synovate Awards for customer satisfaction.
The yearly survey was conducted between January and December last year and is part of a study that measures the perceptions of more than 55000 passenger car and light commercial vehicle owners.
Mini has displayed a remarkable improvement from last year's ratings in this category.
Mitsubishi scooped the Gold Award for satisfaction when buying a light commercial vehicle.
The category recognising satisfaction while buying a passenger vehicle yielded 10 gold awards.
Hot on the heels of the Mini with 93,5percent in this category come Volvo with 93,3percent, Chevrolet with 93,2percent, Mercedes Benz with 92,9percent and BMW with 92,4percent. The rest of the gold winners in this category scored above 91,5percent and include Toyota, Jaguar, Audi, Nissan and Chrysler-Jeep.
Service satisfaction in the passenger car category was highest in the dealerships belonging to Toyota with 84,0percent, Jaguar with 82,8 percent, Mitsubishi with 82,7percent, Chevrolet with 82,5percent, Audi with 82,2percent and Nissan with 82percent.
In customer satisfaction when servicing a light commercial vehicle, two gold awards were achieved, with Toyota at 83,4percent just squeezing past Nissan at 83,3percent.
