Zonke to share stage with Lionel Richie

Soulful songbird Zonke Dikana is kicking off 2016 with a big bang.

The Reach It hitmaker has just been confirmed as the supporting act for Lionel Richie’s forthcoming South African tour dates.

Zonke will share the stage with the Grammy-winning superstar on Sunday 13 March at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban as well as on Tuesday 15 March at the Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg.

The next stop will be at Cape Town Stadium on Friday 18 March.

Finally for two back-to-back nights – Sunday 20 March and Monday 21 March – Zonke will serve as the supporting act for Richie at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg.

“I am looking forward to delighting audiences with all time favourites and new soul hits off my latest album titled Work of Heart,” Zonke expressed her excitement in a statement.

“And I am especially excited to be sharing the stage with Lionel Ritchie who I have admired for taking pride in his art. This is an opportunity for South Africans to experience a quality production.”
