The festive season was a busy year for DJs, producers as well as artists to release their new albums and Merlon Mhlongo known as DJ Merlon didn't get left behind.
Renowned for his single Kuze Kuse, which was a hit amongst South African house music lovers Merlon says that the song blowing up rolled-up the red carpet for him; opening lots of doors for him to work with other established artists and producers, in the process.
On his new album, titled Original Copy, he worked with prolific names such as Zano, Black Coffee, Unathi, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Khaya Mthethwa to name a few.
Merlon adds that it was an amazing experience to work with these big names on the album.
