Be happy AKA and I can chill and share ideas: Cassper Nyovest

South African rapper Cassper Nyovest agrees with former beefmate AKA that people are desperate to see them fight.

Cassper Nyovest, real name Refiloe Phoolo said that people should get over the beef and accept that the two can now chill together.

“Me and him are cool and we don’t have a problem anymore.

“So people should get over this and accept situation about Kiernan (AKA) and I being cool,” he said.

Cassper said that he wants South Africans to be happy that the two can now get along and share ideas.

“We don’t need people hanging on to negative vibes. We don’t need that in SA music industry.”

He would not consider AKA his friend as yet but says that they are “cool” and “have mutual respect”.

What made Cassper happy is that they two spent time with industry legend Oskido who told them that he is proud of what they have given to the music industry.

“Oskido came through later and he was giving us advise and acknowledging what we’ve done in the music industry. He was also telling us how proud he is of us.

“I mean he took time to talk to us about the impact of our music and how it reminded him of his time when they started Kwaito,” said Cassper.

Earlier AKA said that people need to accept that he is no longer beefing with Cassper Nyovest.

AKA said that people should accept that the beef has been squashed and that he did not have anything to gain from the beef after a lot rumours circled that the beef was nothing but a marketing strategy.

"THIS IS HIP HOP CULTURE, beef is nothing new. It's funny when they say, it's "marketing" ... WHAT THE F*** DID I HAVE TO GAIN FROM THIS BEEF? Nothing," he said on Instagram with a picture clearly showing him and Cassper conversing.

"Real life happens and sometimes people work s*it out. Since we squashed it on Christmas Day last year it seems as if we destroyed people's livelihoods ... YOU ARE SO DESPERATE TO SEE US HATE EACH OTHER FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT. It's f***ing sad."
