Soweto born hip hop zealous DJ, Ms Cosmo is about to shake things up on one of the hottest commercial hit radio stations.
Nonqaba Nozuko Rwaxa, popularly known as Ms Cosmo has dived into a new show on 5fm 'The Stir Up' where she will shake the audience with her mix.
This show is definitely for the twerkers and rhymers.
The twenty five year old former YFM presenter and currently Channel O basement DJ is high in spirits about her new weekly slot, which will deliver a unique hip hop experience to the fanatics.
The show that will start airing Sunday nights from 10pm to 1am is one that hip hop crazies should look forward to.
"This is exciting but I must admit I am nervous, I am looking forward to this journey and I hope it comes with bigger things. The fact that I am passionate about music and people makes this opportunity big because radio allows me to serve both my interests."
"The Stir Up is mainly a hip hop mixture, I just want people to look forward to lots of fresh content, good music and introduction of upcoming artists," says Ms Cosmo.
Before Hip Hop met Ms Cosmo she worked for a bank after completing her Bcom Finance studies at the University of Johannesburg.
She sharpened her music skills through Fuse Academy owned by the queen of house DJ Zinhle.
"My life before hip hop was just normal, I worked after completing my degree. I furthered my love for music at Zinhle's school where DJ Zandy lectured me about hip hop.
"People such as Dj Dimples motivated me and kept me going along the way," she says.
Other additional presenters to the power of 5FM is Johannesburg based radio presenter, Justin Toerien who will host an early morning slot on weekends from 1am-4am.
