Start studying long before exams

HERE are some study tips:

  • Look for patterns in the information. It is much easier to organise the information if you can identify the broader patterns that are similar across different topics.
  • Read as much as you to create a large foundation on which to build your knowledge and understanding. The more you already know about a topic, the easier it is to learn.
  • Trying to force the information into your head at the last minute is a recipe for disaster. Make sure you begin studying long before the exams so you do not have to do this.
  • Use models to describe abstract ideas. Models are simple concepts that aren't true by themselves, but are useful for describing abstract ideas.
