EGYPT's prime minister expects to conclude a $4.8bn International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan deal within two months - and is in talks for additional budget support of about $1bn from the World Bank and the African Development Bank

Egypt has had on-off negotiations with the IMF since last year, when its popular uprising sent the economy into a tailspin.
