The SA Revenue Service has finally woken up to the reality that some churches in the country are nothing but money-making schemes. As churches are registered, if at all, as nonprofit making bodies, they are exempt from paying income tax. But the taxman is now reviewing this as some churches are clearly using the tithes for personal enrichment.
