Controversial TV vixen Khanyi Mbau is set to let the public into her world of plastic surgery on TV tonight.

The segment will air during her entertainment and lifestyle show The Scoop on SABC 3 at 9:00pm.

Mbau tells Sowetan LIVE that viewers will see clips of her undergoing breast augmentation, liposuction and breast reduction during the show.

The 31-year-old star adds that this will be a pilot for the SABC, as she ultimately wants to have her own reality show that focuses on plastic surgery like American shows such as Dr. 90210 and Botched.

“I literally shot my whole surgery and it’s all premiering tonight. I had a boob job. I have always been teased in this country, for being a doll and fake, pink skin and not liking being black. But I feel that I always want to get out of the box,” Mbau explained.

“So this is a pilot for SABC 3. I want to have a show like Dr 90210 and Botched. Mine is to try to aid South African women to love themselves.”

Mbau stressed that she is not just doing this to get attention or for the sake of vanity, but rather she wants to educate women about plastic surgery.

“I always have women asking me how do I get this? How do I fix this? It's difficult to answer through social media. So I have decided to have an educational show on TV that allows people to see what you are getting yourself into. This is what you will look like. This is the pain you are going to go through,” she said.

“Tonight I'm going to show you these are the best doctors to go to. Don't go to the cheap doctors. There are a lot of women who go through botched surgery because they are not well informed.”

“So this is not just for plastic and vanity reason, but it is to educate. You can't preach to people when you haven't done it yourself.

“I want women to understand that if the body is given to you for free it's yours, but we are not to born to die. We need to experiment and that's why we are given the mind. Your body is your artwork, your canvas, do what you want.”
