Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane has announced that the DA will be the largest party in Nelson Mandela Bay and will speak to opposition parties about forming a coalition.
He ruled out partnering with the African National Congress‚ however‚ saying: “We’ve run this election on the basis of change so I’m speaking to other opposition parties.”
He said: “It’s quite exciting for us. This gives us a great opportunity to set up a government there.”
