Pitso Mosimane says he will give his counterpart Steve Komphela a call to help him through these tough times.
The calls for Komphela to leave his position as head coach of Kaizer Chiefs have intensified after his team lost 1-0 to Jomo Cosmos on Tuesday.
That was Chiefs' fourth consecutive loss and to make matters worse, Amakhosi didn't score a goal in those matches.
Mosimane, whose Mamelodi Sundowns side are flying high this season, says he feels sad when local coaches are struggling in the league.
"I would like for Steve to stay in the job [at Chiefs]. It is very difficult, but it would be okay.
"I will give him a call. He must hang in there. These are tough times, hey," Mosimane said.
The Brazilians have won the Telkom Knockout this season and are four points ahead of Bidvest Wits in the race for the Absa Premiership title. There are seven league matches remaining. Chiefs are set to finish the campaign empty-handed.
Mosimane further said the last thing he wanted was to lose 3-1 to Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday. However, he is happy Celtic's win has relieved the pressure on their coach Serame Letsoaka.
"I'm happy that Serame won the game, he's a brother. We need the local coaches and I hope this will relieve a little pressure on him. I hope the [Celtic] boys will get confident and go for the next match.
"As much as I'm feeling sad that we lost, but for Serame to win the game it is OK, hey. I would really like for Serame to stay at Celtic, because we don't have a lot of black coaches in the PSL," he said.
In December, Mosimane became the first coach to win all the domestic trophies in the PSL era.
