Sone pressure has been eased, but University of Pretoria coach Sammy Troughton knows that it'll take more than just one victory to convince management he is the right man to get the struggling club out of relegation.

Tuks registered only their second Absa Premiership victory on Saturday, beating Jomo Cosmos 1-0 in a tedious match at Tuks Stadium.

That was the home side's first victory since August 22 and only their third clean sheet this season.

But it does not get any easier, with huge matches coming up against Pirates and Sundowns this week.

"I've been under pressure for a while and rightly so.

" Things were not good enough and I take responsibility for that. I asked the players to come to the party and they responded," said Troughton.

"It relieves pressure on me, but we're not getting carried away. One win does not change too much and it's not going to satisfy management."

Tuks are away to Pirates on Wednesday and are fancying their chances of getting something out of the game against struggling Bucs.

"We've got Pirates away and Sundowns away and it's going to be difficult. Today [against Cosmos was a must-win.

"These are three huge points and we are happy about them. Now we would like to get something out of the game on Wednesday. We will be looking to build on today's result."

Troughton will be looking to beef up his defence and striking force during the transfer window this month.

"We've made a few enquires, but nothing signed as yet. There's not a lot around, unless you can spend millions, which we can't. We are looking at possible loans or getting players for free."
