Maritzburg United drops coach Clive Barker

Maritzburg United has parted ways with their club head coach Clive Barker on Tuesday.

Former Bafana Bafana mentor’s departure came after spending nearly three months in his role at ‘Team of Choice’.

"I want to thank Clive for making himself available under very challenging circumstances," club's chairman Farook Kadodia said.

"We had a meeting with the Coach and together felt that the task ahead is very difficult and therefore a strategic decision regarding the Club retaining its PSL status had to be made."
