Eric Tinkler's 1996 Bafana Bafana teammates believe the Orlando Pirates mentor has gained enough experience on the continent as a player and coach to overcome Etoile du Sahel in the CAF Confederation Cup final.

Ahead of the two-legged final, which begins at Orlando Stadium tomorrow (8pm), the Class of '96 shared their thoughts on the work Tinkler has done in the competition.

PHIL MASINGA

I think he has done a sterling job. He worked with Roger de Sa in the Champions League in 2013 and he knows how to handle the pressure.

He has been exposed to these kind of games as a player and coach and he will know how to make sure his players are relaxed.

ANDRE ARENDSE

He is a winner, from the time in 1996 to this very day. Not many coaches would get this far, not even the ones who are more experienced than Eric, and he has managed to keep the players focused .

DAVID NYATHI

Eric has shown that he has the capability to lead, manage and prepare the team.

And when I look at his overall performance, I can say he has done extremely well.
