The MTN8 final tickets have been sold out, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) announced in a statement on Friday afternoon.

Tickets were made available to the public earlier in the day after the PSL selected the Moses Mabhida Stadium to host the September 20 final.

The tickets to the derby final between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates were made available at 1pm.

The 85 000 capacity stadium will be hosting the competition, with a prize money of R8 million, for a successive year.
