Soweto derby already sold out

TICKETS for Saturday's Soweto derby featuring Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium are sold out.

This was announced by Pirates public relations officer Mickey Modisane yesterday, adding people without valid match tickets will not be allowed near the stadium.

"We were left with only 10000 tickets on Friday, they are now all sold out. A big thank you to the fans for their cooperation by buying tickets for the derby early.

"Gates will open at noon. We have lined up various entertainment activities to cater for the 90 000-plus people who will be coming to the stadium.

"There will also be a seven-a-side soccer match and giveaways. Top artists like Uhuru, DJ Oskido and DJ Grant will perform."

Modisane said pre-paid public parking will be available at Nasrec show grounds and the stadium's west side.

"Pre-paid public parking tickets are sold at the Computicket, no parking ticket will be sold at the stadium on match day. No parking ticket, no entry."

He said Metrorail, Gautrain and Rea Vaya buses will ferry supporters to and from the stadium from around Gauteng .
