De Sa named new Ajax coach

Ajax Cape Town have appointed Roger De Sa their new head coach, the club announced today.

Ari Efstathiou, executive director at Ajax Cape Town said, “after a long deliberation and thorough analysis of all the applications that we have received, we believe that we have found the right man to steer us forward.

“We have agreed terms with Roger and he has accepted the position of Head Coach at Ajax Cape Town until 2016,” Efstathiou said on the club's website.

De Sa surprised all and sundry after resigning as coach of Orlando Pirates two weeks ago. Besides Pirates, the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper also coached BidVest Wits.

Some of the clubs clubs he played for include Moroka Swallows, Mamelodi Sundowns and Wits.
