KATLEGO Mphela has admitted he wants to leave Mamelodi Sundowns when his contract expires at the end of this season.

The Bafana Bafana striker, once the spearhead of the country's frontline, says he still has aspirations of playing abroad, but will also be looking for a move locally if the right deal came along.

This was confirmed by the player's agent, Glyn Binkin, who also said there was no lasting damage from last week's car accident that saw him escape just with some scrapes and bruises.

"It is unclear what the future holds for Katlego, but what is for certain is that he will not stay at Sundowns," Binkin said.

Asked whether Mphela would consider moving to another PSL club, Binkin says it is a possibility.

"First preference is to move abroad, but if the right opportunity came along to stay in the PSL, we would consider it."
