THE Alexandra Northern Local Football Association has decided to honour veteran administrator Moss Selolo for his role in the development of the game.
The association has introduced the Moss Selolo Soccer Tournament catering for Under-13s, 15s, 17s, 20s and women.
President Maisha Molepo said: "Moss is former president of our association, he was on the executive committee for over 21 years.
"He has done a great job in the development of the beautiful game in Alexandra, went to serve soccer in Gauteng and later on the national executive committee of Safa.
"We have decided to honour him as an individual, not as our life president.
Selolo said he was humbled by the honour: "I'm speechless. It is good that the association has decided to honour me while I'm still alive. I'm proud of my contribution, especially at the association."
