Haves must vote for better life for poor

THIS is a call to all responsible, patriotic South Africans to vote. Who to vote for is up to you

How I decided who to vote for:

  • There has been a pothole in front of my gate for many months and though it is fixed now, they still have to redo the tarred area in front of my gate;
  • I've experienced load shedding;
  • Street lights in some parts of my area are not effective. There are many more areas of service delivery, but I will only focus on these for now.

However, roads in rural Matlatla, Koppermyn and many others have been tarred.

Very many poor people now have excess to electricity, water and sanitation and RDP houses.

When I examine the broader picture, I see the positive far outweighs the negative and I thank God that I am not selfish and corrupt to forget those who have less or nothing.

Mistakes have been made, but I am confident that we have learnt from our mistakes.

My party has always had the most attractive election manifestos and principles in general and is still the only true Pan Africanist party around.

Let's look at the other parties without attacking individuals:

  • Cope was formed while emotions were running high in the ANC. It offers only infighting;
  • As for the IFP... ;
  • The DA is for the elite, which does not care about the poor. They lay claim to our struggle heroes while they have kept a statue of Hendrik Verwoerd at the Midvaal municipality;
  • The other parties are too insignificant to mention.

The issue is about land and mineral redistribution. Economic freedom can only come through agrarian reform.

My family and will vote for a better life for all.

Trevor Madikoto, Polokwane
