Durban women mauled by pit bulls on the beach

Two women were attacked by pitbulls on Friday morning‚ as they were walking their dogs on a beach at the Bluff in Durban.

Rescue Care’s Garrith Jamieson said: “At this stage both have sustained moderate injuries and have been stabilised by advanced life paramedics.”

Jamieson said the two pitbulls were “nowhere to be seen” and police were investigating.

It is not known at this stage whether the pit bulls were with their owner at the time of the incident.
