An alleged Tembisa serial rapist accused of luring women into open fields with the promise of employment at Spoornet pleaded guilty on Monday to raping five women.

Lucky Lebepe‚ 26‚ allegedly raped the women after promising them night-shift jobs‚ the North Gauteng High Court sitting in Palmridge heard.

The crimes are alleged to have happened in bushes adjoining the Clayville‚ Olifantsfontein and Oakmor train stations between June and July 2014.

In one of the incidents‚ Lebepe is alleged to have met a woman at Noord taxi rank and promised to arrange a night-shift job for her at Spoornet.

They made arrangements to meet at Kempton Park train station later that evening where they travelled to Tembisa together.

He lured her into bushes where he demanded that she undress before he raped and robbed her‚ the court was told. — TMG Digital
