A man succumbed to a fatal head injury after being struck by a dump truck on a refuse site in Devland‚ south of Johannesburg‚ on Thursday afternoon
The victim‚ aged in his 30s‚ was found lying underneath the rear of the truck.
“Paramedics removed the man from beneath the vehicle and immediately assessed him. Assessment showed that the man had sustained numerous injuries‚ including a fatal injury to his head‚” said emergency service ER24.
“Unfortunately‚ the man had already succumbed to his fatal injuries. Nothing more could be done and he was declared dead on the scene.”
