A man was found dead in a vehicle hanging over an embankment near a river in the Johannesburg suburb of Bramley in the early hours of Sunday‚ paramedics said.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene‚ at the corner of Van der Linde and Bridge Road‚ to find the vehicle between a tree and wall.
“The vehicle was hanging over an embankment near a river‚” said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.
“The man believed to be in his 30’s was found lying in the vehicle unresponsive.
Fire and Rescue had to use the jaws of life to extricate the man from the vehicle.
Sadly there was nothing that could be done for him and he was declared dead‚” she said.
