A MAN accused of arranging the murder of his wife at the weekend appeared in the Humansdorp Magistrate's Court together with one of the alleged hitmen yesterday.

Daniel Bosman, 49, is accused of allegedly hiring two hitmen to kill his soon-to-be ex-wife, Roseline Bosman, 45.

Roseline's body was found inside her Booyce Street home in Humansdorp, Eastern Cape, by her son Edwin Bosman, 17, shortly before 7am on Saturday.

Roseline owned a majority share in the family-run business, Bosman Funeral Home, situated in Heugh Street.

Police suspect that this is one of the main motives for the murder.

Several police sources linked to the investigation maintain that at least one of the alleged hitmen is in the process of turning state witness in the case.

"The one man has spilt the beans. He claims that the husband offered them a house, a double cab bakkie and a R100000 in cash to commit the murder," a policeman added.

The same day of the murder, police arrested Lunga Soldaat, 26, in Hankey with Roseline's laptop.

Daniel was arrested on Sunday, while Godfrey Hendricks, 18 - believed to have worked with Soldaat - was also caught on Monday.

Hendricks and Daniel both appeared in the Humansdorp Magistrate's Court yesterday.

All three are due to appear in the same court on Monday for a formal bail application.
