A crash on the N3 freeway on Van Reenen’s Pass involving a motorbike‚ a bakkie and a truck has left two people dead‚ Kwazulu-Natal Emergency Medical Services said.
It said a man and a woman who were believed to be travelling on the motorbike were killed in the accident.
Two other people were seriously injured in the collision and have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
“RTI officers helped to guide traffic around the scene‚ which had left the fast lanes in both directions closed.
“The exact circumstances resulting in the crash are being investigated by the police.
“Motorists are reminded to please slow down‚ when driving in poor driving conditions‚” KZN Emergency Medical Services spokesman Robert Mckenzie cautioned.
