Eight people have died and at least nine injured in an accident on the R612 towards Bulwer, in the KZN midlands.
The accident occurred between a truck and a taxi.
Paramedics from several ambulance services, including KZN Emergency Medical
Services are still on scene treating the injured.
Two of the patients are critically injured while seven patients are in a serious condition.
The police are also on the scene and will investigate the cause of the accident as it is still unclear what may have caused it the Arrive Alive blog reported.
