"It is music and dancing that makes me at peace with the world" are inspiring words quoted from South Africa’s beloved “Tata” Nelson Mandela who sadly passed away last night.

SA promoter, Canoc Productions confirmed that  tonight’s Johannesburg concert by international GRAMMY® Award winning singer Maxwell is going ahead at the Coca Cola Dome.  T

he concert will celebrate Nelson Mandela’s love of music and dance, while paying tribute to this man of the people. “I am dedicating my Johannesburg and Durban performances in honour of this great man," says Maxwell.  "I look forward to us all coming together to heal as one. Hamba Kahle, Madiba.”

Maxwell is also performing in Durban on Monday, 9 December 2013 at the Wavehouse. The concert commences at 19h30.  Tickets are available from Computicket.

Long may the legacy of Madiba live through song, dance and music.
