Members of the Economic Freedom Fighters arrived at the Union Building in Pretoria at noon on Thursday to deliver a memorandum containing service delivery demands.
Dressed in red party T-shirts and berets, they sang songs praising party leader Julius Malema.
"Re suteleng re ya ya, Malema o e tla (Shift on the way we are coming, Malema is coming)," they sang.
Some waved placards reading: "Juju my commander all the way." Others blew vuvuzelas.
They were protesting over service delivery in Mooiplaas.
On Tuesday, four of their members were arrested and others injured when police shot at them with rubber bullets.
