A CYCLIST was killed when he was struck by a car on the R102 near Firgrove in Cape Town on Monday.
The man, 40, died on the scene, said ER24 spokesman Andre Visser.
Details surrounding the accident were unclear.
"Paramedics could see that the collision was severe since the Opel Corsa had sustained substantial damage," Visser said.
The driver of the car was treated for shock.
