FIVE people have been injured after a herd of cattle walked across a highway in Durban, causing cars to collide, Netcare 911 said on Saturday.
"The cattle ran across the highway and three cars ploughed into the them," Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said.
One person was critically injured, another seriously injured and three had minor injuries. The entire N2 highway near the NPC Cement factory was closed until about 9pm.
