The two clubs have been invited by the Mpumalanga provincial government to be part of the 2010 Premier's Cup at the new Mbombela Stadium.
The four-club tournament will also feature Absa Premiership side Kaizer Chiefs and National First Division outfit Witbank Spurs.
Sowetan has learnt that the organisers initially planned to include Mpumalanga Black Aces but were forced to opt for Spurs because of AmaZayoni's Nedbank Cup commitment.
Aces have been drawn against Free State Stars in the quarterfinals of Ke Yona.
Saturday's tournament, backed by Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza, will also be used to test the readiness of the stadium ahead of the 2010 Fifa World Cup.
A media briefing is expected to take place tomorrow, where the details of the tournament will be announced by the provincial government.
A series of meetings were held between the provincial government and Mbombela municipality to prepare for the tournament.
The Mbombela Stadium has been under the spotlight in the past few months after concerns were raised by the Fifa technical team regarding the quality of the grass.
"The new stadium is ready for use and we are also preparing for the official opening ceremony of the stadium," said the Mbombela municipality's World Cup director Differ Mogale.
"The stadium will be officially opened on May 15 and there are a few international matches that we are planning to stage at this venue in the build-up to the World Cup.
"I'm not in a position to disclose the names of the countries involved, but we are targeting the teams that have qualified for the World Cup."
Mbombela municipality mayor Lassie Chiwayo is confident that they will deliver a successful World Cup.
Chiwayo urged locals and South Africans in general to keep buying tickets for the showpiece.
