The event is a winter sports competition and attracts schools from neighbouring countries. The participating schools will be vying for top honours in hockey, rugby and netball.
Dave Ernstzen, Uplands' curricular coordinator, said: "This forms part of the Uplands College 10-year celebrations and there are 10 schools taking part in the event.
"Three schools - Gateway, Leeuwenhof College and Watershed - are from Zimbabwe. The other seven, namely Uplands, Penryn, Thomas More, St Peter's, Creston, Grantleigh and St Dunstan's, are local. - Richard Nkosi
