Looking good on special day
KAGISO Kekana arrived at Sowetan early last week to pick up her fabulous dress accompanied by her mom and dad.
Kagiso was ready to be whisked away in her new cinderella look in time for the ball in a dress sponsored by TV personality Penny Lebyane and a Spitz voucher to the value of R1000.
Asking her dad, DJ Radebe, what he thought about her winning the dress, he said: "Kagiso is an intelligent and playful girl. She took after me. She's a go-getter and it's nice to see her winning something worthwhile. We're so proud of her".
Her mom, Elizabeth Kekana, said she was "really excited for her little girl as she is such a hard-working individual and loved to see her happy".
* A second recipient for the week, Lesedi Twala, walked away with a gorgeous blue dress sponsored by former ANCYL member of the executive committee, Vuyo Mhlakaza, as well as a Spitz voucher to the value of R1000.
"I can't even explain how I feel right now. I am so excited.
"Thanks very much to Sowetan for making me look like a princess on my special day," Twala said.
