THIS letter is meant for all my former colleagues and all the new journalists who continue to fly the Sowetan flag!
I was reading the newspaper online earlier and learnt that today (February 2) is Sowetan's 30th birthday-anniversary or whatever proper journalistic way you want to put it.
A huge wave of nostalgia washed over me as I remembered my days at the newspaper!
I just wanted to join the throngs who wish you well and say that I wish the "Soul Truth Daily" many, many , many happy returns. And as Pirates fans are wont to say: "Once a Sowetan, always a Sowetan."
