As if graduating as a medical practitioner was not enough, former child star Musa Mthombeni has spoiled his parents with a mansion.

Mthombeni, who works at Lenasia Clinic in the south of Johannesburg, told Sowetan yesterday that the house was situated in one of the suburbs in the Vaal. "I am excited that the house is finally completed. It's for my parents. We collaborated in terms of resources until it was finished."

Mthombeni said it was his mother's biggest wish that he build her a house after his graduation. "When I graduated, we sat down and discussed the whole house issue. I took some loan and they also had some money that they had stashed somewhere, but most of the money was popped out by me."

The doctor said he would freely spoil himself with any car of his choice now that his parents have a home of their dream. Mthombeni, who also hails from the Vaal, surprised his fans earlier this year when he posted a picture of his graduation as a doctor.

He explained that becoming a doctor was a childhood dream. The former television personality started with his medical studies in 2006 at Wits Medical School. His six-year degree included two years of internship and then a year of community service at a local clinic.
