Blue clears the air on love: I don't have daddy issues or a sugar daddy

Reality star and businesswoman Blue Mbombo has lambasted suggestions that she has daddy issues and has found solace in the arms of a sugar daddy.

Blue has just started dating again after a painful break-up with rapper K2 late last year‚ and revealed to TshisaLIVE that she was seeing a hotshot businessman who is a few years older than her.

“I have started getting back into the dating game because I have been single for some time now and I deserve some happiness. I am kind of seeing someone at the moment. I have been going out with this one person and I really like him. He’s an amazing guy‚” Blue said.

The star‚ who lost her father at a young age‚ said that she was upset when people suggested that she had daddy issues and saw the man as her sugar daddy.

“He is a few years older than me but is still young. A lot of people like to say that I have daddy issues or that I have sugar daddies but I would not be with just any guy for the sake of it. I would not just be with you because you are good looking but have nothing to offer. I believe that I must bring something to the table but he must bring something too‚” Blue said.

Blue added that she was not dependent on anyone for support.

“I’m not a girl to depend on anyone. I’ve been doing things on my own from a very young age. So‚ if I meet a man‚ it has to be a man that pushes me to the next level and inspires me. Not that I am dependent on them‚ but for them to be strong for me‚” Blue said.

She said that her relationship with the mystery businessman was not yet official but that they both liked each other.

“We are taking it slow but I really like him and the best part is that he likes me. He’s a loving guy and he is very supportive of me. He is a respected businessman and very hardworking. He treats me well and inspires me‚ which is exactly what I need‚” Blue said.
