'That man is crazy!'- Dr Malinga slams reports he owes dancer 'Tsekeleke' money

Dr Malinga has hit back at claims that he owes dancer Mackson 'Tsekeleke' Tholo R5‚000 for appearing in his Akulaleki music video.

According to Daily Sun‚ Mackson is tired of people using him and demanded that Malinga pay him for dancing in the video.

"Dr Malinga promised me R5‚600 when he asked me to be in his music video‚ but he only gave me R600 after the shoot. I need the money. I don’t even have toothpaste‚” the dancer told the paper.

But Malinga has hit back at the claims and said that Mackson was "crazy"

"I have known him for a long time and this man pretends to be (the veteran kwaito artist) Tsekeleke just because he is overweight. I have told him to change his name but he does not listen. He has been dancing in the streets for years and I have helped him where I can but that man is crazy.

"He does not reason well. Maybe‚ because he does not have money‚ he is desperate. But I don't owe him anything for being in my video‚" Malinga told TshisaLIVE on Wednesday.

He went on to explain that he never came to a formal agreement with Mackson over how much he would pay him for appearing in the video‚ and said that he would have paid up if he had.

"There was never any agreement. When we were shooting the video‚ he asked that I pay him just R300‚ but I paid him R600 because I saw that he was struggling. Do you think that if I owed a man money I would not pay him? R5‚600 is a small amount to me‚" Malinga said.
