After taking a brief hiatus from the music scene‚ singer Tina Dlangwana has confirmed that she is officially back and will be dropping new music very soon.

During an interview with DRUM‚ the songbird revealed that her upcoming album will tell a story about how she managed to find herself following the death of her beau‚ Proper Mkwaiwa‚ last year February.

“I had started working on the music when Prosper was still alive. After my husband passed‚ I needed to find myself and the music will tell exactly that‚” she told the local publication.

Tina’s ‘marriage’ to the deceased businessman was questioned after it emerged he was still married to actress Tina Jaxa at the time of his death.

Since then‚ Tina has been embroiled in copious amounts of drama with Jaxa and Prosper’s family. It was widely reported that she claimed to be Prosper’s customary wife and argued that she was entitled to bury him and get half of his estate. However‚ Prosper’s family reportedly rejected her claims and said they did not recognise her.

Speaking about going through hard times‚ Tina explained that her family has been supportive and has played a huge role in helping her to step out of this dark place.

“I was down and out emotionally‚ but because of my supportive family it was easy for me to get back up. I am back because God had a plan for me before I was born.”
