Akon sticks to his story - 'Men are natural breeders'

Senegalese superstar Akon made some questionable comments about women during an interview with Hollywood Live Today.

The international music sensation was being interviewed about being honoured at the recent BET Awards. However things took an awkward turn when he was asked about his view on “men being natural breeders.”

Akon made the comment back in 2013 but says that it’s a view he still believes in.

The Smack That hitmaker went on to elaborate on his view explaining that women don’t understand men well enough to “dominate” in society.

“Why is it that every woman in the world is going through the exact same problem with a man? Just think about it. It’s not a coincidence‚ it’s just who we are. I always believed that if women took the time to understand men‚ you literally would run the world. The only reason why men are dominant is because we know more about women than women know about men.”

Akon added that men are outnumbered and women are clearly smarter but somehow men still apparently “run the world.”

“Let’s think about it. [Men] are outnumbered 15 to 1‚” he said. “[Women] are clearly smarter than we are‚ and you execute a lot quicker and faster more than we do. So how is it that we run the world?”

Akon then compared the relationship between a lion and lioness to humans- saying that a lioness knows her role.

“If you think about society and how things work‚ we create rules without taking nature into account.”
