Rapulana Seiphemo's alleged hijacker’s case postponed again

The trial of Nathi Lucky Msiza‚ the man accused of the failed hijacking of Generations: The Legacy actor Rapulana Seiphemo‚ experienced another postponement at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

Msiza asked for the services of Legal Aid as his own attorney had not gotten back to him.

The state asked for the matter to be postponed to June 7 to conclude the gathering of cellphone records‚ fingerprints and witnesses’ statements.

Along with Tebogo Makunyane‚ Msiza allegedly hijacked Seiphemo on February 14 in Diepsloot.

The pair allegedly got inside Seiphemo’s car when he stopped at traffic lights and forced him to drive towards Mogale City.

Seiphemo’s car was involved in an accident during the hijacking‚ colliding with another vehicle.

Three people‚ including Makunyane‚ died in the accident. Donovan van Zyl‚ 24‚ and Jacobus Coertze‚ 28‚ from Krugersdorp‚ were the two others.

Msiza had previously said other prisoners at the Pretoria Central Prison assaulted him‚ citing they were missing Seiphemo from their screens because of his involvement.

Msiza remains in custody.
