Fans of radio personality Paul Mtirara were estatic at finding out he’d be on the airwaves again.
The former Metro Fm DJ has been off air since late last year. He recently made it back to our radios as a stand in for Nonn Botha on her Solid Gold show on Talk Radio 702.
Media reports stated that Paul Mtirara had found a home as a DJ on 702.
SowetanLIVE contacted the station and Pippa Rowles the PR manager who stated that Mtirara had joined the station on Sunday as a freelancer.
‘ Paul did feature on 702 and CapeTalk on Sunday 3 April, standing in for our regular Solid Gold host, Nonn Botha. He doesn’t have a permanent slot on the station.’
