Former member of the 90’s Kwaito group TKZee has been arrested again.

Tokollo “Magesh” Tshabalala was arrested in Bloemfontein after allegedly failing to pay his bill at Cubana Lounge in Bloemfontein.

The Daily Sun reported that Magesh and a friend ordered two ciders and the bill amounted to R62.

Magesh then refused to pay, saying that the drinks were too expensive. The waitress on duty then called Park Road police and Magesh was arrested.

Police spokesperson Captain Chaka Marope confirmed that the kwaito star had been arrested around 11pm on Monday night.

“I can confirm that he has been arrested. He and a friend failed to pay their bill at one of the up market clubs in the area.”

Tokollo appeared in court this morning for his bail hearing but Captain Marope could not shed any light on the outcome.

Magesh has had brush ups with the law before this.

In 2014 he was arrested and appeared in court for allegedly assaulting ex-TKZee band member Zwai Bala.

He was also charged with culpable homicide for allegedly killing two people in a car accident in Botswana and was acquitted in 2008.
