Two Diski Divas‚ — Wendy Parker and Kat Mohoaduba – have been dropped from the television show after public outrage over a “staged fight”.

Diski Divas — a reality show about the wives‚ girlfriends and former girlfriends of local soccer players — was labelled fake after Bernard Parker’s wife‚ and Nonhle Ndala‚ Andile Jali’s girlfriend‚ were escorted from Kaya FM’ s premises in Rosebank last week during their interview on Home Straight.

Kat Mohoaduba is an ex-girlfriend of former Kaizer Chiefs captain‚ Jimmy Tau.

Nkateko Mabaso‚ Director of Local Interest Channels at M-Net‚ said in a statement this morning: “Mzansi Magic have been informed by the producers of Diski Divas‚ Connect TV‚ of a decision to terminate the participation of Wendy Parker and Katlego (Kat) Mohoaduba in the show with immediate effect”.

“This follows an altercation involving the two women with Nonhle Ndala. Mzansi Magic does not condone acts of violence and‚ supports Connect TV’s decision to take immediate and significant action.”

The station said the Diski Divas show will continue and while viewers will see both Parker and Mohoaduba over the next two weeks‚ they will not feature in the series beyond this point.

“Mzansi Magic confirms that whilst Diski Divas is an unscripted reality series‚ any unacceptable behaviour of cast members will not be tolerated. We extend our appreciation to Kaya FM for their swift action and apologise that this incident occurred on their premises during what should have been a routine interview.”

The Times today quoted radio show co-host and television personality Kuli Roberts as saying that the two pregnant WAGs‚ Parker and Ndala‚ had set up the incident because they were “desperate for content“.

“They staged it all. Make-up artists‚ camera in studio‚ should have been a give-away...‚” she said.
