All TKZee's Magesh got for his birthday was a bruised ego

TKZee star Tokollo ‘Magesh’ Tshabalala celebrated his 36th birthday all by his lonesome at Envy Lounge on Friday night - after most of his friends and performers went awol on him.

So much for RSVPing to an event.

There was no such thing as a guest list which led to a flock of random guests popping in to check out the party which was meant to be exclusive to VIP guests.

With a birthday themed ‘Black Tie’, one would expect all the sophisticated bells and whistles, but the disappointment smacked guests in the face right from the start. The dismay that flooded one's eyes when made to pay for drinks was priceless.

From awkward moments to further awkward moments, whilst waiting for more than an hour for the MC to do his job. Even Kuli Roberts disappeared after 30 minutes.

It was hilarious to watch RGB standing near the entrance in hope to find celebrities to interview. Sadly there were none.

The RGB crew who showed up to capture what they hoped to be a banging party, left with just a footage of Kalawa’s King Spikiri and his entourage - and kwaito group 2point5 who were the only performers for the night.

Our expectation to be entertained by the TKZee group was the last nail to the coffin as group members Kabelo Mabalane and Zwai Bala did not even show up for their performance.

Another expected performer, Mandoza was nowhere to be seen.

With all the obvious flops at the event, the birthday boy himself sat hiding in a corner where it was elusive to spot him and his random friends.

The little media invited to the event walked out the club one by one, slowly but surely all that Tokollo had for his birthday was an organized mess.
